The Hesketh Collection
The Collection Inscription & Authority
New opportunities for research on manuscripts and early printed books are offered by The Hesketh Collection, deposited in the University Library in 2006, which includes First Folios by Shakespeare and Jonson and a series of manuscript letters relating to the imprisonment of Mary Queen of Scots. Initial research on the Collection was shared at a one-day colloquium ‘Writing and the Printed Book’ (October 2006).
