Bursaries
Download a document about bursaries
A small number of bursaries towards the registration fee will be made available from the British Shakespeare Association. Its newly-launched Anniversary Fund supports people currently training for a career in education, research, the theatre or any other relevant profession and will typically include postgraduate students, early career teachers, theatre practitioners and independent scholars.
To make an application, you are asked to present your case for a bursary (no more than one side of A4) and to provide proof in the form of a supporting letter (e.g. from your current or former supervisor or your employee or contact in the BSA) that you are not in receipt of assistance from other means.
You should submit your application for a bursary to the Conference Secretary, Anne Stewart-Whalley, Department of English & Creative Writing, County College, Lancaster University, LA1 4YD.
We will let you know whether your application has been successful in the following week.
