The Lancaster Visitor Information Centre is located just next to the railway station at The Storey Creative Industries Centre, Meeting House Lane, Lancaster, LA1 1TH, 01524 582394, or e-mail them at lancastervic@lancaster.gov.uk. Its opening hours are Mon-Sat 9.30am - 5pm. The Information Centre will be glad to help you with any queries.
Accommodation
Accommodation can be booked on or adjacent to campus or in Lancaster.
Campus
We recommend the Lancaster House, a four star hotel which is immediately adjacent to campus. The central reservations number is 08458 509508 (please mention delegate rate when booking).

Special rates have been arranged for delegates of the Conference, with room rates of £82.00 for double occupancy and £71.00 single occupancy. Guests can enjoy the leisure facilities at the Sandpiper Club, dine in the restaurant or enjoy the Sandeman's bar. The hotel is only a short walk from the Conference Centre so these facilities are easily accessible for non-resident delegates too.

Lancaster
Lancaster City Centre has a range of hotels, bed and breakfasts and a newly-opened Travel Lodge. If you want to avoid the time and trouble of arranging your own accommodation, the Visitor Information Centre can also book this for you if you e-mail (above) or telephone them (Tel: 01524 582394 / 582393). Do tell them you are a conference delegate so as to take advantage of any special rates available. They will ring round to check availablilty and organise all the paperwork for the small charge of £2.95 as a booking fee.
